It is impossible to describe your three-day Walk to Emmaus. Just as each of the four Gospels gives a different account of the life and ministry of Jesus, each person who attends Emmaus has a unique experience. Many events during your three days were unplanned and unexpected but were God-guided and appropriate. With insight, Christians can learn to recongnize the difference between a humanly motivated and a God-initiated experience. The experience you went through is divinely guided and we just happen to call it The Walk to Emmaus. The following pages will teach you what a sponsor is and how you can be a great sponsor to those you bring into the community:
